Midwest Salute to the Arts 37 Years of Fine Art

Midwest Salute to the Arts 2025

This year marks the 37th year of the Midwest Salute to the Arts

This fine art festival is being held at Moody Park on Longacre in Fairview Heights, IL. This event is hosting up to 100 artists from across the country. This event is special because it host a lot of local artists across Illinois and Missouri. From new artists to established artists, you can find them in one spot. This is also a great event because they have food trucks and vendors on site along with beverages for the 21+ crowd. Bring your friend, family, or loved one for a great day/night in the park. If you want to get away from the crowd you can also venture through the park. Ample parking is available in the park and the old US ICE Rink parking lot that is about a quarter mile from the festival. Bring foldable chairs to catch performances from musical acts on the Ameren stage. Friday night there was a jump band there entertaining guests. This event host artist across many genres, from Mixed Media to photography and metal works. This event would not be possible without all of the many sponsors and volunteers that donated money and time. This festival runs 8-22-25 to 8-24-25 6pm – 8pm Friday 10am-8pm Saturday and 11am-4pm Sunday. This provides many opportunities to see all of the artwork without feeling rushed. Take your time and even ask about the artwork there. It is great to see the artists light up answering questions about their works. You can tell they all take great pride in their craft. We saw some amazing acrylic works and photos on metal with incredible detail for landscape shots. You will see some very creative works many that are for sale. Don’t let the prices scare you away because these are not mass produced pieces you see in big box stores, these are a representation of a persons soul.  Don’t worry if you missed the festival this year they already have next year planned for August 28-30 2026 and you can learn more about Midwest Salute to the Arts
