Sublime – Papaya Limon Pre-roll
Pre-rolls are the “Box of Chocolates” of the cannabis industry. You never know what you might get
We needed to pick up some refills on the Diamond Carts from Rove but did not know of any dispensaries close in St. Charles/St. Peters Missouri area that carried them. So we went to Rove’s site and it pointed us to Heya Wellness in St. Peters License number DIS000168. 
This dispensary is on the corn of a lot full of cars from repair shops and a Hertz rental. We walk and are greeted by 2 men behind a counter to check in. Lobby was nice and well lit with the additional sunlight. We head back to the store front with the guy that checked us in. We pick up 2 Rove diamond carts and he reminds us about the 1 cent pre-roll. There was three choices and I picked Sublime – Papaya Limon Pre-roll. This one is a Hybrid with 25% combined THC and the main terpenes are b-Caryophyllene, b-Myrcene, and Guaiol. The Sublime – Papaya Limon Pre-roll had a nice papaya smell in the tube. Sticky sweet in a sense. I thought everything was all good…….Nope I lit that pre-roll and one of the worst smells ever came off of that pre-roll. I don’t know if it was the combination of the paper and flower starting to burn but it was horrid!
I continue to light the Sublime – Papaya Limon Pre-roll and give it a chance. It is different. Once you get a decent cherry on it, it is ok. I took a large hit to get a decent exhale experience. In my prior experiments with getting a proper taste on the exhale, I have to get enough smoke in to override that inhale taste.
From my notes while consuming the Sublime – Papaya Limon Pre-roll. I noted it smells like a sweet cigar in the air. It is not bad in the air if you don’t mind the smell. It would be one people would confuse for a cigar over a cigarette. It is full bodied with a musky papaya taste to it. It has a richness to it that does not leave super quick. On the exhale…….this is were the “Limon” name comes to mind. You get a tangy/zesty taste on the exhale. It is not bad but not what to expect when you inhaled a savory fruit and get citrus on the way out. It also has a ashy taste to it, not a lot but enough that you know it is present. The Sublime – Papaya Limon Pre-roll burned funny in some spots and had runs in the other. Towards the base it was lightly packed and kind of soft. You could crush it easily passing it off to someone. It relit with no issues most of the time. Those runs caused issues it would burn away half of the joint first and you might be able to get the other side to catch up. The effects were there with a headband developing about 10 minutes into the session with Vanna. I noticed that if you smoked too little you got a serious headband. A little uncomfortable, felt like wearing a beanie that was too tight. On the flip side smoke too much and you have the body high and couch lock with a little bit of the headband left over. It was a decent smoke and would be worth it for a $10 pre-roll as it was a 1 gram joint. Could it be better, yes. Is it the worst not by a long shot.
