Summer is not over yet! Neither is great music in St. Louis
With technology becoming more and more a part of our daily lives, we tend to lose that sense of community and neighborhood. The sounds of kids playing in the popped water hydrant, the smell of food being barbequed on a hot and humid day, music playing in the background, and people playing games. Now that scene of summer is some “Here are 10 summer time hacks” video on Tik Tok or Instagram. If you want that summertime feel back have no fear as one of the biggest music festivals of the summer is coming back to St. Louis September 27-28 with Evolution Fest. This summer music event has been one of the leading music fest to revitalize the outdoor music fest scene. St. Louis has always been a mecca of great music big or small. From Blueberry Hill to Riverport, music has always had a home in the St. Louis metro region. Many stars of the years have made special stops to perform in St. Louis, I mean why not if you are doing a cross country tour. St. Louis is the middle of the map and easy to get to with many regional and international airports in the area. Plenty of great hotel options along with AirBnB VRBO and other timeshare places. Evolution Fest in Stl would make the perfect way for you to end your summer going into the fall. With a great line of of new and long standing artists like Lenny Kravitz, Sublime, Public Enemy to more recent entries like His Lordship and Pokey LaFarge.
Evolution Fest not only features music but other experiences like over 30 plus food vendors, cooking and mixology demonstrations, a place to get a cold beverage of the adult variety, along with a local vendor and art gallery. How could you not want to be part of that. You get a chance to see live music which for some can be cost prohibitive in arena settings, there will be great food, and you might find a new artist to add to your ever growing playlist of music.
Passes are not super expensive for the weekend or even a day. For one day plus chair rental would be $115.15! think about that. We paid that price for one ticket to see Kendrick Lamar and was in the nose bleed section of the last concert we went to. You have a possibility to see 15 performances for that price in one day, plus you can get food and drinks there as well. This is an easy win even for one day. You can even go with a group of friends as they offer many passes here. The best part of the Evolution Music Festival is the fact that the funds help support the United Way which provides many needed resources in this area. This fest will also help with some of the storm relief funds needed to still repair parts of St. Louis affected by the massive tornado that hit central and north St. Louis.
We promise this is one festival that you would not want to miss!
