Well Neighbors, this weekend is packed like your favorite preroll. With the Munchie Fest being held in Carondelet Park Saturday to Primo Rice coming to the Red Flag Monday night. We made a quick stop to see the start of Munchie Fest. It was a breezy and brisk day in the park. It was set up in front of the boathouse with a great view of the lake. Many of the vendors were set up and ready to greet people coming to Munchie Fest. The event also included guest musical performances along with a panel of speakers.
Shifting to the Sunshine Daydream 420 Street Fest, their 420 event was in full swing with people crossing busy intersections to get to the Tivoli parking lot. This was causing a lot of people to rubberneck to see what was going on and where the music was coming from. The event in Delmar was scaled back in the recent years. At one time it covered a large sections of the Delmar Loop, now it is contained in a parking lot. It still provided plenty of activites.
